Certificate in Human Resource Management
Why choose the certificate?
Human Resource skills are in high demand in today’s workforce. This accredited certificate provides an important foundation for those early in their studies and a contemporary update on Human Resource practices for those already working, who are keen to refresh their knowledge. It can be combined as a concurrent certificate with any undergraduate degree program or completed as a standalone program.
Highly flexible, the program is delivered using a blended model with both online and in-person course options available. It can be completed in as little as one year for students beginning in May. Nationally recognized and accredited by Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) Nova Scotia, students can become a student member of CPHR at no cost. Those who successfully complete the program, are eligible for a CPHR National Knowledge Exam waiver and can work toward their professional designation. Program information
Admission is available throughout the year (September, January, May, and July) and can be pursued part-time or full-time. Students who intend to complete the certificate within one year need to apply for admission in the May term. Time to completion varies for other admission terms or part-time studies.
